The Trustees

Reverend Doctor Charles Kemp

I live in Frome. But I have strong personal connections in the South Hams. Becoming a trustee has enabled me to strengthen my links with this part of Devon. I am an Interfaith Minister and celebrant. I also work as a funeral director with Greenwood Funerals and run my own counselling and healing practice.

I have been practising kriya yoga meditation on a daily basis for thirty years. I appreciate that people can hold very different beliefs and world views whilst sharing the same fundamental values: for example, love, respect, tolerance, compassion, creativity, responsibility, family, community, friendship, honesty, discernment, kindness, generosity, integrity, sustainability and not doing harm.

Martha Chester

I grew up in South Brent. I worked as a secondary school teacher in London for six years before deciding to move back to Devon. I have practised yoga for over twenty years and I am qualified Kundalini yoga teacher and teacher trainer.

Working for the Trust has been a great commitment which I hold close to my heart. As it is now more than ever before, Community Spaces and Centres for Healing are most needed. After travelling far and wide, I will always feel privileged to call Devon my home.

Tim Cartwright

I live in Exeter with my wife and two children. My parents in law lived in the South Hams for many years so I know that part of Devon well also. I currently run a wholesale distribution business but have had a varied career including stints as a tennis coach, a restaurant owner and a management consultant. I have become a trustee to offer energy, friendship and experience to those who are looking to transform the Trust so that it can continue to provide a positive and lasting impact within the community in a sustainable and self-sufficient way.
